Message I've done Bare Bones CPU Programming during the Last Century.. NOTHING in my OS, or likely this OS, is written for Humans to Understand. Its just Basic Calculations done in an environment that will work. Humans never see it..

The Internal Fuel Injector Correction Factor is LIKELY some Pulse Reference to a Time Base that is generated in routine somewhere, that handles the 'Lbs of Fuel Per Hour' per VE * Mixture Wanted.

The MAX RPM of the Engine is LIKELY a Pulse Counting Reference from a Hardware Time Base derived Routine, that will Count the Spark Pulses or likely the Time Between Spark Pulses, AND respond in LESS than a One Minute Time Base. The RPM is likely checked on a Millisecond Time Base, and the Time Base might not line up with the Decimal Places. So it can be an Odd Conversion to get it to Engineering Units.

Likewise the MPH Limit is likely a Pulse Counter off the Drive Shaft Spedo Input, and that Counting is likely on Millisecond time Base.. but the Pulses counted will not be in the Mile Reference, it's Pulses Counted from the Drive Shaft Reluctor Ring, per Time Base that is Allowable.

So nowhere in these Calculation are there 'Engineering Units' of Minutes, Seconds, MPH, Lbs.

Each Individual Calculation will likely have a different 'Conversion Factor' to bring it to a Unit that Humans can deal with.

An XDF File has CPU to Engineering Units Conversion Factors in it. These files were made by really smart, Clever and Patient Hackers and have been likely shared or Stolen, and have now been shared with us.
The XDF file is used in 'Tuner Pro' which is a Program available, and with the Proper XDF File, Tuner Pro can digest and allow you to hack anything from an '80 GM ECU to '90's fords and Nissans.

All you need is a ROM Dump and an XDF for it and your good to go..

But then there is that little detail of Writing it back to the ECU.. This is where Nistune Boards come into play.. There are other Options, but Nistune is the 'Cleanest'..
